Appearing in class tests and test series is compulsory.
Students must not miss classes without valid reasons. Missing classes for more than 3 consecutive days without prior notice and approval may result in the cancellation of admission.
Students are not allowed to take leave for more than 3 consecutive days.
Not attempting tests for 3 consecutive weeks will attract a penalty of ₹200 for the wastage of resources.
If students miss classes for personal reasons, the institute is not responsible for re-arranging missed classes.
The academy is only liable to complete the syllabus of the course, and other facilities may be stopped at any time at the discretion of the academy.
2. Conduct and Discipline
Indiscipline of any kind will be penalized and may result in the cancellation of admission.
The decision of the Director of GEO IAS will be final in case of any disputes between students and teachers.
Using grievances to provoke other students without the institute's knowledge may result in immediate termination of enrollment, without refund.
Any student failing to comply with the above policies will not be allowed to attend classes unless reasonable explanations are provided in writing to the management. If not justified, the admission may be canceled.
3. Fee and Payment Terms
Fees for the UPSC course do not include optional courses unless specifically opted for.
Fees for any offer or course are applicable only during the period specified and are not transferable to students admitted under different offers or at different times.
Students should submit post-dated cheques for each installment at the time of admission to avoid delays in payment.
Transfer of fees to another person is not allowed in any case.
Dishonored or bank-returned cheques will incur a ₹1500/- charge.
4. Fees and Refund Policy
Important Note: Fees once submitted will not be refunded in any case.
Transfer of course from one course to another course will be charged with ₹5000/- along with the differential amount in every case. This service is not available beyond 5 days from the date of admission.
Submission of fees after the scheduled date will incur a fine of ₹50/- per day, and overdue fees beyond 30 days will result in cancellation of admission.
If any student requests to reduce fees by not accepting printed notes and physical books, the institute is not liable to provide study material in physical form.
5. Parental Responsibility
The student's parents or guardians are responsible for verifying the student's attendance through the institute's app. Any student not attending classes while claiming to do so is the responsibility of the parents or guardians.
6. Study Material and Resources
The student may choose to forgo physical study material (printed notes and books), but in such cases, the institute will not be responsible for providing any material in physical form.
7. Interaction Policies
Restrictions on Unsupervised Interactions
Student-Student Interactions: Students should avoid unsupervised interactions with other students outside the scope of approved institute activities, both on and off the premises, unless approved by GEO IAS.
Student-Teacher Interactions: Students are prohibited from having independent meetings or unsupervised interactions with teachers outside of authorized educational activities. These interactions should only occur within the approved framework set by GEO IAS.
Student-Employee Interactions: Students should refrain from unsupervised interactions with GEO IAS employees outside official institute activities, both on and off premises, unless previously approved by the institute.
Limitation of Liability for Independent Interactions
GEO IAS is not responsible for any legal, financial, or personal consequences arising from unsupervised, independent interactions among students, or between students and teachers or employees.
Students acknowledge that any interactions occurring outside the authorized activities are personal matters, and GEO IAS is not liable for the outcomes of such interactions.
Compliance and Consequences
Failure to adhere to these interaction guidelines may result in disciplinary action as deemed appropriate by GEO IAS.
Students are encouraged to report any unauthorized interactions or situations that could impact their studies or well-being to GEO IAS administration.
